Twenty years ago the island of Lanzarote was being 'discovered' abroad as an ideal holiday resort and an perfect place for a holiday home. Europeans started looking at Lanzarote for a winter residence or retirement home. By this time Tara was already established in Puerto Del Carmen, the village where the tourist boom really started. Today Tara's main office enjoys a strategically located place in the center of the 'old town' of Puerto del carmen. Seven years ago another office was opened in “booming” Playa Blanca in the south of the island.
